Robert Abbey

Robert Abbey - Passion in Lighting Design since 1948

At its start, Robert Abbey Lighting produced table and floor lights for department stores, based out of Brooklyn, New York. At that time in 1948 everything was done in-house, from designing to manufacturing and finishing, even shade production, lending true authenticity to every piece they produced. While their design and production facilities have expanded to other locales, they still maintain their in-house designers in Hickory, North Carolina and remain independently owned by the founding family. With great designs ranging from Rico Espinet to Mary McDonald lamps to Jonathan Adler lighting, Robert Abbey produces some of the most vibrant, colorful and elegant designer lighting in the industry. With looks that vary from transitional to structural and contemporary, representing their designers down to the finest detail, Robert Abbey light fixtures have something for everyone and every space. We're confident that a Robert Abbey chandelier or a pair of Robert Abbey table lamps will add a great amount of decorative style to any room of your home.
