Each January when we travel to Dallas to see the newest and brightest lighting designs for the year, one of the biggest highlights of the trip is our meeting with Troy Lee, owner of Savoy House in Braselton, Georgia. Nothing makes us feel more welcomed than Troy's larger than life attitude and southern hospitality andndash; qualities that the designers at Savoy House are keenly aware of and apply to their designs. Each unique piece from Savoy House has an unmistakable Southern accent. Savoy House has recently teamed with famed designer, Pierce Paxton, to create a number of collections that serve to extend Troy Lee's much loved southern hospitality throughout the entire country. Paxton combines Southern Georgia dandeacute;cor with design elements from her adopted hometown of New Orleans to create the Fern Spring collection. The combination of the subtle highlights in the Cathedral Gold finish and the leaf accents that are evident from the top crown on down to the detailed glass carvings brings a taste of Savannah to any home. Southern Georgian design isn't limited to grand designs of gold and high society. The peach state is lush with beautiful forests and rustic lodges, as you'll see from this next fixture.Wrought iron frames and dark finishes are two attributes you'll notice in a rustic lighting fixture, both of which are very noticeable on this piece from the Pico de Gallo Collection. With Pierce Paxton once again designing for Savoy House, this piece suggests hints of a Spanish motif with the fine hammered point detail in the frame and the Cream Scavo Glass Candle Covers. This piece would be a quaint addition over a wooden table in the southwest home or in the foyer of a rustic log cabin.andnbsp;
