In an effort to focus on Capitol Lighting's growing online business and new format for its retail stores, the company announced that it is closing its showroom at 159 Route 22 East, Green Brook, NJ. Starting May 26, local shoppers will be able to take advantage of special offers and sales on inventory at this location until the store officially closes on September 30, 2017
"The difficult decision to close our Green Brook showroom was based on our company's desire to create more dynamic shopping experiences for our customers," says Capitol Lighting President Eric Lebersfeld. "Our growth strategy involves moving towards more curated, easy and fun to shop omni-channel showrooms guided by the industry's best lighting experts. We continue to focus our efforts on expanding with these types of showrooms and enhancing our online business."
Capitol Lighting's family retailing tradition spans five generations of Lebersfeld ownership and operation, and during this time, the company has become the award-winning industry leader and respected lighting authority.
Capitol Lighting's three other New Jersey showrooms in Paramus, Eatontown and East Hanover - as well as its five Florida showrooms - remain open and will continue to supply the best in custom quality lighting design and decorative accessories to both residential and commercial environments. Moreover, Capitol Lighting features a diverse selection of 300 design lines in 40 lighting categories with over a million products online at 1-800LIGHTING.com.
"We have no plans to close any more locations," says Lebersfeld. "We look forward to servicing our Green Brook customers in our headquarters showroom in East Hanover, NJ, or our Paramus and Eatontown showrooms."
