Photos with the most comments win!   Contest Details:    Contest begins on Monday, April 4, 2011, and runs through Friday April 29, 2011. One winner per week will win based on the total number of comments made on the photo (your comments only get counted once) by 11:59 ET each Friday. By submitting images to the contest, you are deemed to have reviewed, read and accepted both.   Capitol Lighting Before & After Facebook Photo Contest Official Rules   1. The photos you wish to submit must be posted on the wall of the Capitol Lighting Facebook fan page and Tag CapitolLighting1800Lighting   2. All work submitted must be an original work. We will accept photos taken by you or photos of you.  As such, you are required to comply with all U.S. and international copyright laws, any and all laws regarding intellectual property and you will indemnify Capitol Lighting and its affiliates for any violations in connection with the image(s) submitted.   3. No purchase necessary to enter the Capitol Lighting Before & After Facebook Photo Contest.   4. We reserve the right to reject any photos which we, in our sole and absolute discretion, deem offensive, violative of law or unsuitable in any other manner.  Examples of the following types of photos we will reject include the following:   •    Pornographic or nude images   •    Images promoting illegal drug use   •    Images depicting crimes of any nature   •    Capitol Lighting is not required to provide any explanation for the rejection.   5. All photos submitted that abide by the above rules will be entered into the contest pool. Each person who submits a photo will be contacted via Facebook message for their mailing address and email address.  One winner will be selected weekly on April 8, 2011,  April 15, 2011, April 22,  2011 and April 29, 2011. The photo with the most comments by 11:59 ET on those dates and the winner will be notified via Facebook message.  In the event of a tie, a winner will be selected at random. Comments made by the entrant only count once. .All decisions of the contest will be final and binding.   6. The Capitol Lighting Before & After Facebook photo contest begins on Monday, April 4, 2011, and runs through Friday April 29, 2011. Entries must be submitted before Monday, March 14, 2011.   7. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to enter the Contest.  Entrants must also be legal residents of the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico or the U.S. territories and possessions.  Employees of Capitol Lighting and its affiliates, and their immediate family members, are not eligible.   8. By entering this contest, you agree to receive communications and updates from Capitol Lighting   Legal Terms and Conditions   General: Your entry into Capitol Lighting Before & After Facebook Photo Contest (the “Contest”) is subject to the Contest Rules, the following Legal Terms and Conditions, and all other guidelines, terms and conditions stated elsewhere on this site and all applicable laws, ordinances and regulations, including but not limited to all laws respecting intellectual property, trademarks, copyrights, rights of privacy, pornography and defamation. By entering the Contest, you accept and agree to be bound by the Contest Rules and these Legal Terms and Conditions.  Capitol Lighting shall be the administrator of the Contest and shall sometimes be referred to as the “Administrator”. By entering this contest, you agree to receive communications and updates from Capitol Lighting.   Submissions of Photographs:   All work submitted must be original work.  Digitally enhanced images, manipulated or composites of multiple images must be derivations of the entrant’s original photos for which the entrant is the copyright holder.  As such, you are required to comply with all U.S. and international copyright laws, any and all laws regarding intellectual property and you will indemnify Capitol Lighting and its affiliates for any violations in connection with the image(s) submitted to the Contest. Furthermore, entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Capitol Lighting, its affiliates, subsidiaries, parents, directors, offices, and employees, against any and all claims, judgments, damages, liabilities, penalties and fines of any kind, stemming from any discovery that the submitted photo violates any and all applicable laws. By submitting your images, you grant Capitol Lighting and its affiliates the right to use, publish or disseminate any of your images in print and/or on our website, online publications, email newsletters or in any other manner we desire.  You also waive any claims of ownership or copyright protection with the photos you submit.    Contest Period: The Capitol Lighting Before & After Facebook Photo Contest begins at 12:00:00 a.m. (EST) on Monday, April 4, 2011 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. (EST) on Friday April 29, 2011. Photos submitted before or after the contest period will not be eligible for consideration   Prizes: Four $100 Capitol Lighting Gift Cards will be awarded during the contest period. One winner will be selected each Friday during the contest period. The photo with the most comments by 11:59 EST on those dates wins. In the event of a tie, a winner will be selected at random. Capitol Lighting is responsible only for prize delivery it is not responsible for prize utility, quality or otherwise. Taxes and fees, if any, are the sole responsibility of winners. Winners shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless Capitol Lighting, its affiliates, subsidiaries, parents, directors, offices, and employees from and against any liabilities arising from or regarding taxes owed on prizes.   Verification of Winners and Delivery of Prizes: The Capitol Lighting $100 Gift Card will only be awarded to participants who respond to the message requesting their mailing address and email address. Capitol Lighting is not responsible if prize is returned as undeliverable or if entrant does not respond to prize notification message within 7 days after the date sent. Winners agree to the use by Capitol Lighting of their name, likeness, images submitted and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law.   Eligibility: In order to participate in the Contest, you must be a legal resident of the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico or the U.S. territories and possessions. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.  Must be 18 years of age or older as of April 4, 2011 to enter.  Employees, officers and directors of Capitol Lighting and its affiliates and their immediate families and those living in the same household are not eligible to enter or win. Winning a prize is contingent on fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.  Capitol Lighting reserves the right to verify the eligibility of winners.   Copyright Notice: Capitol Lighting respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask our users to do the same.  It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement.  In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable law, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.  We may also in our sole discretion limit access to the site and/or terminate the memberships of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
