I am interested in using an LED bulb. What should I look for? I want more light than a 60 watt bulb produces
BEST ANSWER: It is manufactured for a 150 wt 3-way incandescent bulb.This lamp has a dimmer switch on it to increase or lower the amount of light. It is really meant for ambient lighting. The highest amount of light that the dimmer switch allows...or full light, is more than enough. This lamp is not a reading lamp, but lights upward. Turning it all the way up creates harsh light. Perhaps you should look for a different type of lamp if you want bright light. This lamp provides a higher or lower amount of light—enough to satisfy all needs.
