I've had my eye on this for two years for a room remodel with a 14 ft ceiling that I plan to turn into a library with floor-to-ceiling custom built-in shelves. This pendant is so architecturally striking that I decided to design the custom shelves around the look of this light. In other words, I will show the designer the photo of the light and tell her to use it as the inspiration. Hubbardton Forge had an unexpected 15% sale so I jumped on it.

Is this fixture dimable?
Can this light be dimmed and what type of dimmer should be used?

How does each end or any long linear type chandelier get attached when there us only one ceiling box but usually two end to attach to the ceiling?
BEST ANSWER: The ceiling plate for the lamp mounts to the joists. The electrical box is hidden by the ceiling plate allowing for adjustment.

What are the demotions of the base plate and the measurements from the electrical box to the mounts to the light?

Can I install on sloped ceiling where one cord will be longer than the other? Is the fixture dimmable?
BEST ANSWER: Hi, this product is slope ceiling adaptable one way to 45 degrees. Can be dimmed Line Voltage, ELV dimmer. I hope this information helps.
