can you turn on only the lower light.?

Wattage and type of bulb this lamp takes in both locations; is the downward globe adjustable.?
BEST ANSWER: The main lamp uses 1 incandescent 3-way 150 watt medium base bulb and the reading lamp uses 1 incandescent 60 watt medium base bulb. This lamp features a 4-way pole switch allowing you to adjust the brightness of the top bulb. The reading lamp is fixed to the pole but the head itself does pivot.

Where are the on/off switches? Is there a dimmer switch?
