Compact and easy to install, the Smart Control Timer works with the Kichler Connects app so you can digitally control your landscape lights from your smartphone, tablet, or voice controlled home device (Amazon Alexa and Google Home) Through the app, you can utilize and control one of our preset lighting schedules or create custom schedules. Preset schedules can align with your location, dusk-to-dawn, and adjust to daylight savings time allowing you to be in control of the beauty of your outdoors. The timer operates with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for local or cloud-based control. Its unique external antenna allows for long-range connectivity and control by extending the signal range from the transformer enclosure. The Smart Control Timer is rated for indoor use and in outdoor enclosures. It easily goes inside the transformer of existing landscape installs, giving you the ability to control your current setup or new installation.

Can you integrate this in with a home automation system? Control 4, RTI, etc…?
Is there a backup battery? We live in an area with occasional power outages — which means WiFi and a Bluetooth are unavailable during outages.
