I picked the wall swing lamp for reading in bed. They are gold color but not highly polished which is elegant and trending. As they are swing arm they can be adjusted so they over my book or magazine. They can focus more then other lamps and therefore the light will not disturb my husband (as other lights do) if he wants to go to sleep while I read. Since they are plug in and not hard wired we can take them with us if we move. And finally they do not take up room on my night stand.

Do these get hot to the touch?
