Is this dimmable?
BEST ANSWER: Yes with the correct dimmer. Because of the number of bulbs it did require a special dimmer but works beautifully.

The plate at the top looks shiny...and the fixture looks more satin finish. Is the plate shiny?

Can LED lightbulbs be used?
