Overview
The Cymbol series by Peter Bristol brings modern indirect LED lighting to life in a set of simple, architectural silhouettes. The large shades and linear frames are familiar at first read, but their impossibly hidden light source lets you know they are special and part of a new generation of lighting. The classic shade forms of the Cymbol family work in tandem with the thin, geometric armatures to create something that feels simultaneously new and familiar. The armatures play a structural role in the system, giving Cymbol an architecturally grounded character and providing a conduit for the completely hidden LED sources. The oversized brass shades provide beautifully soft indirect lighting that makes people and spaces look enticing.
