Can this be flush mounted?
I am thinking of putting this over our king size bed. We have 7 1/2 foot ceilings. Would this hang down too close to the top of mattress? Top of mattress is approximately 28" off the floor.

What is the minimum distance from ceiling to bottom of this fixture? I have a 94" ceiling and would like to install a ceiling fan/light that maintains 84" clearance from the floor. Is this possible with this product?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, mine is always on and I use a wall switch to turn the fan/light on most of the time. I use the remote when I don’t want the fan.

How is the fan speed?
BEST ANSWER: Fan speed at its highest isn’t very aggressive and if you are looking for a fan that will supply a ton of air movement and breeze this will not satisfy your needs

Can you reverse the fan speed?
BEST ANSWER: You can change the fan speed. It says the fan spin can be reversed. The reverse option is controlled on the very top of the fan base itself, facing the ceiling. You cannot revers it with the remote. Once it is reversed, you can change the speed with the remote or a wall control dial.
