I have the matching chandelier and I chose not to use the frosted shade. Can the frosted shade be taken out of the pendants?
BEST ANSWER: I have these. The frosted shade is not connected to the clear glass. However, if you remove the frosted shade, you will see the light socket. The frosted shade is not required.

Can the hanging rods be cut shorter than the minimum?
BEST ANSWER: Yes the rods are in sections and can be modified for height. We are so pleased with our lights and especially Capital Lighting. Very helpful.

Pendant length and adjustment,,, we want the bottom to be 72" above floor. The bottom of light fixture to the ceiling will be 6'
