Payment Options and Procedures

We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover as credit card payment. Additionally, we accept payment through the PayPal and Amazon Pay payment gateways, as well as payment financing with Affirm.

When checking out with Capitol Lighting's 1800lighting.com the full amount of the purchase is authorized and collected when your order is placed. Should part or all of your order be cancelled prior to shipment, all associated funds will be returned upon confirmation of cancellation.

Payment by Check or Wire Transfer

Capitol Lighting's 1800lighting.com will accept payment in the form of a check or wire transfer, though these purchases must be completed by phone only. For purchases paid by check or wire transfer, in stock items will not be shipped, and special order items will not be ordered from the respective manufacturers, until the check has cleared. There will be no exceptions to this policy.

Payment by PayPal and Amazon Pay

Capitol Lighting is happy to offer convenient payment options through PayPal and Amazon Pay. If you choose to checkout using your PayPal account, the full amount of the purchase will be charged to you at the time your order is placed. Further, for such orders, Capitol Lighting does not have the ability to add to or otherwise modify your order that would bring the total order value above the original purchase total. Should an adjustment be required for your order that would bring the total value of the order below the original purchase total, the difference will be automatically refunded to your PayPal or Amazon Pay account.
