The Morland 1-light adjustable sconce from Savoy House provides stylish, adjustable wall lighting. It is finished in English bronze and can be used with the included cord and plug or hardwired. An on-off switch is located on the backplate. Bulb not included. Adjustable sconces are a perfect idea for use at the bedside, taking the place of bedside table lamps, and are also ideal task lighting for living rooms and other spaces! The English bronze finish can be paired with bronze hardware or mixed with hardware in other fixtures. Morland works well in a variety of decor styles, including transitional and vintage-inspired. Does this look black?
BEST ANSWER: It looks darker than my other bronze fixtures, so yes, it looks black. But it is in fact bronze. I can tell it’s bronze, but my husband and son both thought it was black.

Is this light dimmable? What are the dimensions of the shade?
BEST ANSWER: Hello: The shade is 6" in diameter. It can be used with the included cord and plug or hardwired. An on-off switch is located on the backplate. If you hardwire the fixture, then you can use a wall dimmer switch (purchased separately).

How tall are each of the arms? My box is on the top frame of a bookcase so there is not a lot of room to go up but I can angle up one arm and then tilt the second one to wash over the bookcase
