This Savoy House Pendleton 1-light ceiling semi-flush mount is a smart way to pep up the illumination and style in any room, including small spaces that might otherwise have lackluster light. It showcases a large orb of clear glass that is open at the bottom, allowing for more direct light and making it easy to replace the bulb. Metal bands bisect the shade and help hold it to the fixtures base. Try using this fixture in laundry rooms, closets, hallways or entryways, though truly the possibilities are endless. Does the metal band around the glass globe cause a shadow on the wall?
BEST ANSWER: Not so much on the wall (I have in hallway), but the ceiling does have a shadow cast from the bands.
