I like this fixture for open to above entrance. I need some help with the size I should get?
BEST ANSWER: Hi, To determine the fixture size for a foyer, add the length and width (sq. feet) of the foyer and convert to inches (for example, a 10' by 12' foyer would require a 22" wide fixture). I hope this information helps.

Is it dimmable?
BEST ANSWER: We do not have this fixture on a dimmer; however, we have other fixtures in this series that are on dimmers and work well with dimming. (800)Lighting is very good with customer service and answering questions; before I purchased these fixtures, I asked multiple questions and they responded well.

What size is best for above a 6'x4' kitchen island?
BEST ANSWER: Hi, The standard distance between a kitchen island and a pendant light placed above it is 30 to 36 inches. Island pendants should be placed about 30 inches apart and at least 6 inches from the edge of the island. I hope this information helps.

I am planning go to purchase the medium Darlana for over our kitchen table. We have 8’ ceilings. Any thoughts about whether this size is too big for the height of our ceiling?
