I needed a brighter strip light than the similar Kichler I currently have. This WAC is 265 lumens; the Kichler is 125 lumens. This fixture will downlight a piece of metal art on an exterior wall. Since it will be mounted on the roof overhang about 4' above the art, brighter light is needed, as it will look dimmer as it is more distant from the art. I really like that the WAC has adjustment for brightness and can also adjust to either 2700K (warm) or 3000K (cooler).
